What Is Reiki?
The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words, namely “rei” and “ki.” Rei means universal, and ki means energy or life force. So, reiki literally means universal life force energy. As an energy healing method, Reiki is a complementary therapy in which practitioners place their hands or just above the different body areas.
In this Eastern medicine system, it is a common belief that every being has an energy field that supports its health and vitality, and physical and emotional imbalances can causes energy blocks in this field. Reiki’s function is known to remove these obstacles and blockages.

Who Would Benefit from Reiki?
Reiki, instead of addressing the symptoms, behavior, or medical conditions directly the way conventional medicine does, focuses on balancing the child’s system and his or her self-healing mechanism. In other words, it encourages the child’s system to find its unique balance from within.
