Finding the Person of Your Dreams

Meeting the right person to share your life and passions requires patience. There are a lot of tools available to help you meet someone, but obviously you don’t want to settle for just anyone. It’s particularly difficult today because of social distancing, but in some way it may be better because it forces you to focus more time on getting to know each other since it’s not easy to have immediate physical contact. It’s not a race, and there are no deadlines to find the right person. Take your time to date so you can really know the other person, because that’s the purpose of dating. You deserve to find the person of your dreams. It takes a little while to really get to know someone, and who they really are behind their initial façade. You will know when you have found the right person, ask anyone that has found that ideal companion.

You might find this shocking, but to really find the right person of your dreams, you need to first focus on yourself! Have you made a list of the character traits you want in your soulmate? Do you wonder why you seem to keep attracting the wrong type of person? Look over that list and ask yourself a question. Are you the type of person who would attract that type of person, and if not, why not?

You need to be the person who would attract the person of your dreams into your life. You have heard the old saying that like items are attracted to each other. Maybe you should focus on being the person you want to be, and remember it’s not based on your intentions, but it’s based on your behavior and actions as to how the other person will see you.

You also need to be yourself. So often when you meet someone you might not realize it, but subconsciously we may start to try to be the person you think the other person is looking for. You need to be yourself so they can get to know the real you, and if they don’t like the real you then obviously they aren’t the right person for you.

So remember to work on yourself to be your best self, use the tools available to meet someone, and let the universe do its job!
