Avoiding Negative Reactions
Having a negative reactionary response to any situation can have a very negative impact on your everyday life. If you have this type of immediate response to other people’s inappropriate behavior, or a negative situation it can have a much bigger impact on your life than you might realize.
It is also hard to shake these negative feelings when you overly react to what appears to be a negative situation, because it can expand the severity of the feelings, and how long these feelings stay with you.
When your emotions turn negative, it can cause biological changes inside your body, and it may cause stomach problems or even manifest into diseases such as cancer. In addition, it can affect how other people react to you because your energy sends out vibrations that people pick up before you even speak.
Most importantly, don’t let other people dictate how you feel or behave. Don’t give other people that much control and power over your emotions. Don’t let others define who you are as a person. It’s important to act and behave as the person that makes you feel good about yourself.
The faster you can redirect your thoughts and feelings onto something positive, the better you will feel. When you think about it you are letting something affect you in this moment that is already in the past. In this moment everything is perfect so enjoy the gift of the present!
